about the training

In addition to meeting the rigorous standards of the Yoga Alliance, our program takes a hands-on approach to developing knowledgeable, compassionate, and capable yoga teachers. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, which is why real world teaching experience, observation, assisting, and personalized feedback are woven throughout the training. Just as importantly, you'll become part of a supportive community that often extends far beyond graduation.

Led by Vicky Cooley and Meg Spaulding, two experienced teachers who have built their lives and careers around yoga, this training offers a practical, modern approach to yoga education. Beyond traditional teacher training, you'll learn how to find your unique voice while gaining the skills to work with a wide range of students, including seniors, beginners, and individuals with special needs. Our goal is to make yoga more accessible to all while preparing you to lead classes that are safe, welcoming, challenging, and inclusive.

Whether you dream of teaching yoga professionally, deepening your personal practice, learning more about yoga, or simply investing in your own growth, this training is for you. If you've ever considered teaching at Sweatfluence, building a career in the wellness industry, or even owning a studio one day, this is an incredible place to begin.

Together, we'll learn, grow, move, breathe, and fully immerse ourselves in a transformative journey, one that will deepen your understanding of yoga, strengthen your connection to yourself, and give you the tools to share this practice with others in a meaningful way!

At Sweatfluence, we believe yoga should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer one full scholarship each year for our Yoga Teacher Training program, covering 100% of tuition for one recipient.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are passionate about deepening their practice and sharing yoga with others. This scholarship is here to remove barriers and support you on your journey to becoming a certified teacher.

For Jess, yoga is more than physical—it’s a pathway to emotional, spiritual, and energetic connection, and ultimately to the divine.

Her journey has led her to lead retreats, design workshops, grow studios both in person and online, and share the practice with people around the world. She loves teaching students of all levels and has a special passion for mentoring teachers—helping them find their unique voice, refine their skills, and build confidence. Jess has also studied restorative yoga, meditation, anatomy, and hand balancing, always expanding her knowledge to share more deeply.

She weaves these modalities together to create holistic and transformative experiences for her students.

Elizabeth’s teaching emphasizes balance—yin and yang, effort and ease, movement and stillness. She encourages students to find harmony within themselves, aligning with the natural rhythms of life and nature. From this place of balance, we can open to healing, creativity, love, and wisdom.

Elizabeth is continually inspired by the power of yoga and energy healing, and she feels honored to help others reconnect with their inner light.
