“I built this studio to help others heal. Somewhere along the way, it healed me too, and now, I get to share it with the world and my son.”
— Courtney Del Vecchio, Founder and Owner
The story of Soul Sweat (now Sweatfluence) is the story of showing up…imperfect, passionate, and all in.
In 2017, at just 22 years old, I opened my first hot yoga studio in Old Saybrook with nothing but a dream, a bank loan, and the belief that movement and community could change lives. I had no teaching or business experience—just the determination to create a space where I could belong and be myself.
Since then, I’ve grown alongside these studios, from a first-time risk-taker into a wife, mother, and leader who now lives yoga on and off the mat. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s taught me that when you believe in your vision, you keep showing up for it—again and again.
Nearly a decade later, I’m still fueled by that same passion: to create safe, sweaty, authentic spaces where people can connect, heal, and come home to themselves. And now, as a mom, I carry another mission close to my heart—to be a role model for my son, showing him what it looks like to chase your dreams and keep going, even when it’s hard.

The next generation of teachers starts with you. Our program not only meets the standards of Yoga Alliance—it goes further with a hands-on, practice-based approach. We believe the best way to learn is by teaching, so you’ll gain real in-person experience from the start. Along the way, you’ll be supported by a group of fellow students and instructors who quickly become more than peers—they become your friends, your support system, and your community.
Becoming a yoga teacher is a chance to expand your perspective and connect more deeply with yourself. Together, we’ll study, move, breathe, and grow—fully immersing in this transformative journey.
