rachel gerould

Rachel came to yoga in 2016 during a season of searching for a way to manage anxiety and find her way back to herself. What started as a personal outlet quickly became something deeper: a grounding practice that reshaped not just how she moved, but how she lived. In 2021, she joined the teaching team at Sweatfluence (formerly Soul Sweat), and what began as a few early morning classes soon grew into a management role, then a full-time calling, pouring her energy into the studio and discovering her voice as a leader along the way.

Now Rachel is opening her own studio, West Hartford Sweatfluence, a reflection of years of dedication and belief in this practice and the community it creates. For her, yoga has always been about more than movement, it's about connection, resilience, and showing up for yourself. She recently relocated to the Farmington area with her husband, Peter, and their two dogs, and is excited to bring that same energy to West Hartford.

“I found my voice here. Now I’m creating space for others to find theirs.”
