maine: a retreat to return to yourself
October 9-12, 2026
Jackson, Maine
Your soft reset begins here, held by nature.
Sometimes the most meaningful retreats aren’t the farthest away, they’re the ones that give you permission to slow down enough to hear yourself again. Our Maine Yoga Retreat is an invitation into the gentle rhythm of the land, where forest, fields, shared meals, and intentional practice shape each day.
We’ll gather at Casa Portal, a retreat homestead set on a working farm in Jackson, Maine. Centered around a restored 1840s farmhouse and surrounded by woodland trails, gardens, heritage sheep, small cabins, and a restored barn for practice and gatherings, the space is designed for connection: to nature, to community, and to yourself.
Led by Elizabeth Voytershark, our days unfold slowly. Mornings begin with coffee, tea, breathwork, and vinyasa flow. Afternoons are open for rest, journaling, nature walks, or simply being. Evenings bring grounding practices ranging from slow flow to yin and restorative, followed by sound healing and soft closing circles to help integrate the day.
Guests will have optional opportunities for Reiki, cupping during select savasanas, saging rituals, and oracle readings for those seeking deeper layers of relaxation and energetic support.
Meals are shared together, featuring nourishing farm-to-table offerings that create space for conversation, presence, and community.
This retreat is for anyone feeling the quiet pull toward a tender pause, slower mornings, meaningful practice, time in nature, and the kind of healing that happens when you’re held by the land and each other.

Casa Portal is a retreat homestead set on a farm in Jackson, Maine, where forest, fields, and shared daily rhythm shape how time is experienced.
The property includes a restored 1840s farmhouse, private woodland trails, production gardens, a flock of heritage Navajo-Churro sheep, small cabins tucked into the landscape, and a restored barn for workshops and gatherings.
Life at Casa Portal moves with the land. Meals are prepared on site using seasonal ingredients. Days unfold with daily rhythms of nature and shared presence. The forest is steps from the door, and the pace follows the season.
The name “Casa Portal” reflects the idea of a threshold, a house that opens into something deeper. A place to step through, spend real time, and return to life with steadiness and care.
